Rasha Thadani, Tamannaah Bhatia & Vijay Varma Groove: Rasha Thadani, daughter of the actress Raveena Tandon, has officially made her entry into the big world of showbiz with her debut movie Azaad. The film, which also has Ajay Devgn's nephew Aaman Devgan making his debut, opened across theaters this week after its glittering special screening in Mumbai. Rasha has a lot of cheerleaders in the film industry, among them actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who has vocally supported the young actress. Tamannaah assumed center stage at the screening of Azaad while asking the paparazzi if they loved Rasha's song, Uyi Amma, stating that it was "too good."

Fans were in for a treat when Tamannaah and Rasha grooved together to the infectious Uyi Amma. In an Instagram post,Tamannaah and Rasha displayed their fun chemistry and acting. While Tamannaah wore a casual hoodie and minimal makeup, Rasha wore a T-shirt that made a reference to her first film: "unstable girl". The bond was clearly evidenced by Rasha's comment that during a recent interview, Tamannaah was like her "adopted mom." She further joked that Tamannaah and her boyfriend Vijay Varma had "adopted" her, much to the delight of her fans.
Things became fun when Vijay Varma made a cameo and, to the utter surprise of the fans, sang one line from Uyi Amma. The trio's infectious energy charmed social media; comments from fans filled the comment section with love.

Despite the new face, Azaad did not exactly sell very well at the box office. Reports say the movie managed to earn around ₹1.5 crores on its opening day—the collection is slightly lower than another debutant, Emergency, which seems to have bagged ₹2.35 crores. Morning shows saw occupancy of merely 5% that went up to around 26% during the night shows. While the publicity campaign, involving Rasha and Aaman attended events across the country, aimed at turning the tide, the initial response has been tepid.
Azaad set against the backdrop of British India, seeks to capture a politically charged era, featuring Ajay Devgn and Diana Penty in support of newcomers. However, fans of Rasha and Aaman are still hopeful for popularity to grow gradually, propelled by the duo's youthful energy and connection with the stars.
