Abhishek Bachchan Discusses Comparison with Aishwarya Rai: Everyone knows Bollywood's Abhishek Bachchan has tall shadows to shadow in the footprints of his father, Mr. Sub Zero, Amitabh Bachchan, and the even taller one next to him, Mr. 82 year-old at work, Aishwarya Rai.

He talked candidly about the comparisons he has faced coming from such elite and challenged exasperatedly when reflecting that year, hoping his daughter Aaradhya would say one day, “Hey my dad’s 82 and he’s still at it.”

Abhishek had earlier brushed off comparisons to his family in an interview with CNBC-TV18 noting that it was hard to live up to such lofty legacies. After years of the same mill, he said in a couple of years more to come now this comparison is nothing but recognition of being part of big and not burden.

This perception has driven how he has opted to forge his own career space in the industry.

Apart from taking credit for the work done by his family, he has further been proud of their achievements and how he admires their dedication to this day.

To which he said — expressing his dream to become active in his career till the last moment, so that his daughter Aaradhya could see and be inspired by him.

I Want to Talk Actor : The actor noted that dad has a serious work ethic and if you listen to how Amitabh practices what he preaches you will understand better. He spoke with a deep desire to take the same tone, wishing he could work as long into old age.

And his biggest wish is for Aaradhya to look at him in the eye and tell him 'Royalty, I am proud of you.

Abhishek talked at length about the roots of his family and how he takes pride in being a part of that lineage. He understood the legacy that came with his name, his grandparents' inheritance and vowed to keep alive the values and love his father had taught him.

He also talked of his wish, both today and for the generations next (including Aaradhya), that this legacy would be embraced with the same fervor and belief system.
