PM Narendra Modi 3.0: Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India for the third time is going to hold his first meeting at the Prime Minister residence at 5 PM on the matter to approve two crores more homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G).
As per the reports from government sources, the government is also expected to increase the assistance by 50 percent on the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin beneficiaries.
Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) was introduced in 2016 by the Ministry of Rural Development and the final call came from India’s government in November 2016 to announce the PMAY-G scheme.
This scheme was formed to look into the shortage of houses in rural areas in India.
Earlier, during the presentation of the Interim Budget 2024-2025, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that two crore more houses would be built under the PMAY-G scheme over the next five years.
As some sources say, the cabinet is soon going to ask President Droupadi Murmu to hold a parliament meeting as soon as possible so that he can address both Houses together.

How to apply for the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) scheme?
To apply for the Awaas Yojana you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:
- First, you need to visit the official website of PMAY-G i.e. pmaymis.gov.in.
- Click login and then active user.
- After that add all the personal details such as gender, Aadhar card number, mobile number, etc.
- A "search" button will appear on the screen, If you click on it, information about a recipient and whether the case has "priority" will be shown.
- Then click on register.
- The details that you have given will show up automatically. Make sure the details are correct and up to date.
- Fill in the other required details, such as nomination information, bank account details, and others.
- Once you have filled out all the details, you can now click on yes and enter the amount of loan you want.
- Fill in the captcha code, and your form will be submitted
