Narendra Modi Oath Ceremony 2024: Narendra Modi is all set to take oath as the Prime Minster for the third consecutive time on June 9, Sunday at Rashtrapati Bhavan's Forecourt in Delhi.
As per the official notice, the Oath Ceremony will begin from 7:15 pm today and more than 8,000 guests are expected to attend.
According to reports from ANI, due to the upcoming G7 meeting in Italy, the guest list has been kept short. However, Modi is also expected to leave for the G7 meeting later.
Third-level security of Delhi Police's SWAT and NSG will be deployed at Rashtrapati Bhawan, where President Droupadi Murmu will give him the oath of office.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Prashant Gautam told AN,."Almost 1,100 traffic staff have been deployed. They have been briefed about all the instructions. We have done all the rehearsals. An advisory has been issued for the general public for the traffic movement.”
The oath ceremony will last 30 to 40 minutes and will be attended by the leader of neighboring countries and the Indian Ocean, several state ministers, party members, doctors, lawyers, and many other significant staff.
As per the reports, Delhi has been declared a no-flying zone by the police for a few days and has banned the use of drones, hot air balloons, and paragliders.
Among the leaders, some include Karnataka's JD(S) head H.D. Kumaraswamy, Ramnath Thakur of the JD(U), Ram Mohan Naidu and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, two TDP MPs, former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Piyush Goyal, and many others.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge will attend the ceremony
After receiving the invitation, Kharge took his time and consulted with other members to make his decision to attend Modi's swearing-in ceremony in the evening.
