Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: Muslim Candidates Who Won and Their Impact

Muslim candidates such as Abdul Rashid Sheikh, Asaduddin Owaisi, Iqra Choudhary, Mian Altaf Ahmad, and many others won the seat in their respective constitutions in the Lok Sabha election.

Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: After a tough competition among parties, the Lok Sabha Election results have been announced the victory of the BJP-NDA alliance by 295 seats. Thus, Prime Minister Modi will again execute his power over India for the third time.

However, this time in the Lok Sabha Election around 78 Muslims were filed across several constitutions among which only 15 Muslim candidates from TMC, BJP, Congress, and others won the seats.

Let's take a look at who are these Muslim candidates who won their seats in this year's Lok Sabha Election.

India cricketer Yusuf Pathan

India cricketer Yusuf Pathan won the seat in the Baharampur constitution and got 5,24,516 votes.

This was the first time for him to be elected to the Lok Sabha Election, however, he won the Baharampur seat by 85,022 votes against Congress candidate, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury who got 4,39,494 votes.

Mian Altaf Ahmad

Mian Altaf Ahmad has won the Anantnag-Rajouri seat in Jammu and Kashmir and by a huge number of 2,81,794 votes.

Mian Altaf Ahmad of the National Conference party got 5,21,836 votes and Mehbooba Mufti who was the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir got 2,40,042 votes., she is from the Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party.

Mohibbullah

Mohibbullah of the Samajwadi Party won the Uttar Pradesh, Ramput seat by 87,434 votes against BJP candidate, Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi.

Mohibbullah got 4,81,503 votes and on the other hand, Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi got 3,94,069 votes.

Zia Ur Rehman

Zia Ur Rehman also from the Samajwadi Party got 5,71,161 votes and won the Sambhal seat in Uttar Pradesh against BJP candidate, Parameshvar Lal Saini who got 4,49,667 votes.

Mohammad Haneefa

Mohammad Haneefa of Independent candidate in Ladakh won the seat by 27,862 votes against Congress candidate Tsering Namgyal who got 37,397 votes.

Mohammad Haneefa got 65,259 votes in Ladakh.

Abdul Rashid Sheikh

Abdul Rashid Sheikh also from the Independent party won the Baramulla seat in Jammu and Kashmir by 2,04,142 votes against ⁩ Omar Abdullah of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference party.

Abdul Rashid Sheikh got 4,72,481 votes and Omar Abdullah got 2,68,339 votes.

Asaduddin Owaisi

Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of AIMIM, won his seat in Hyderabad by 3,38,087 votes, against Madhavi Latha Kompella of the BJP party who got 3,23,894 votes.

Asaduddin Owaisiwin the Hyderabad seat with a huge of 6,61,981 votes.

Iqra Choudhary

Iqra Choudhary of the Samajwadi Party got 5,28,013 votes and won the Kairana seat by 69,116 votes against BJP's Pradeep Kumar who got 4,58,897 votes. Imran Masood

Imran Masood who is a Congress candidate won the Saharanpur seat by a margin of of 64,542 votes against ⁩Raghav Lakhanpal of BJP candidate who received 4,83,425 votes.

Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi

Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference won the Srinagar seat by a massive margin of 1,88,416 votes against ⁩ Waheed Para of Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party who got 1,68,450 votes.

Afzal Ansari

Afzal Ansari of Samajwadi Party won the Ghazipur seat and got 5,39,912 votes. He won the seat against BJP candidate Paras Nath Rai who received 4,15,051 votes.
