Nitin Gadkari faints during the rally in Maharashtra: Nitin Gadkari fainted during an election rally in Maharashtra's Yavatmal on Tuesday.
After a brief pause, the senior BJP leader was able to get back up on stage and continue his speech after receiving prompt treatment.
As he was being carried away by the people on stage, the union minister appeared dizzy and unconscious as some BJP leaders called for doctors.
He was carried off stage by security personnel after fainting.
After a few minutes, the minister recovered and finished his remarks.
Mr Gadkari posted on X (formerly Twitter) shortly after completing his speech.

"I felt discomfort due to the heat at the rally in Pusad, Maharashtra. But now I am completely healthy, and am leaving for Varud to attend the next meeting. Thank you for your love and good wishes.
During the first phase of the Lok Sabha election, Mr Gadkari contested Nagpur, a seat he won in 2014 and 2019. He was campaigning for Rajashree Patil, who is a member of Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena faction and the Mahayuti alliance's choice for Yavatmal-Washim.
“I am confident that the people of Yavatmal district, which has a constant tendency towards development, will give victory to the BJP-Maha alliance, which believes in all-round development,” the union minister said.
Earlier this year, speculation swirled about Mr Gadkari's political future after the BJP delayed naming him as its Nagpur Lok Sabha candidate.
In response to that delay, former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray sent Mr Gadkari a cheeky invitation.
There will be voting in eight seats in the eastern part of Maharashtra on April 26, including Amravati, Hingoli, Nanded, and Yavatmal-Washim.
