MP Minister Rakesh Singh Assures Well-being of People Injured After Stage Collapse: On April 7, nearly four people were injured after a stage collapsed at BJP's roadshow in Jabalpur, which marked the beginning of the Lok Sabha campaign in Madhya Pradesh.
A large number of people attended the PM's roadshow. The injured were treated in Victoria Hospital in the city, including a police officer.
The MP minister Rakesh Singh visited the hospital to meet the injured people. "Today's roadshow was overcrowded, so many people fell down. The PM told me to go immediately and everyone should be taken care of properly."
"I have met all the injured and their families. Everyone is healthy, some are injured who after proper treatment have been sent to their homes,” he said.
“On PM Modi's direction I met with the people who were admitted to the hospital after getting injured in the stage collapse incident. All are fine and proper treatment is being given to the injured. I pray to God that all of them get well soon," Rakesh Singh told ANI.

The people who received treatment have also been sent home.
According to city superintendent of police HR Pandey, a welcome stage was erected along Rampur-Gorakhpur road during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's roadshow. As soon as the Prime Minister's vehicle passed in front of the stage, people climbed on the stage to get a glimpse of him, causing the stage to collapse.”
Dilip Srivastava, Police officer, Jabalpur told ANI, "After PM Modi's rally passed, a stage built near a showroom collapsed due to overcrowding. In this one police personnel and three other people have got injured. All of them have been sent to the Victoria Hospital, Jabalpur, for treatment."

Among the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh, there will be four phases of polling in 2024. The first phase will be held on April 19, followed by April 26, May 7, and May 13.
As the sixth most populous state, Madhya Pradesh has 29 Lok Sabha seats, 10 of which are reserved for SCs and STs and 19 of which are unreserved.
