This fasting ritual is primarily observed by married and unmarried women. This five-day fast is dedicated to Goddess Gauri, also known as Parvati, as the devotees observe this fast to get a suitable life partner.

- July 23, 2024, Tuesday - First Mangala Gauri Vrat
- July 30, 2024, Tuesday - Second Mangala Gauri Vrat
- August 6, 2024, Tuesday - Third Mangala Gauri Vrat
- August 13, 2024, Tuesday - Fourth Mangala Gauri Vrat
Mangala Gauri Vrat Time 2024:
- The Abhijit Muhurat will be held on July 23, July 30 and August 6 from 12:00 PM to 12:55 PM.
- On August 13 the Abhijit Muhurat starts at 11:59 AM and ends at 12:52 PM.
Mangala Gauri Vrat Rituals 2024:
- Wake up in the early morning, or before sunrise then take a bath and put on new clothes.
- On a wooden table cover it with a red coloured crimson cloth then put a statue or a picture of Maa Gauri.
- Honour the goddess with devotion. Present some flowers, fruits or self-made bhog i.e. anything sweet made by themselves.
- Light a diya then start chanting manta and perform the aarti.

It is an important Hindu festival, celebrated across the country in the month of Savan. Savan is a month when people worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
