JEE Advanced 2025 Result on June 2: What Comes Next for Aspirants

JEE Advanced 2025 Result on June 2: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will publish the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025 result and the final answer key on June 2.

Today at 10 am, the JEE Advanced result and final answer key will be released, and students will be able to check it on jeeadv.ac.in.

In addition to the result, the institute will also provide a list of the top performers along with the cut-off marks for each category.

What happens next for the candidates?

The JoSAA counselling process, wherein shortlisted candidates may apply for IITs, will begin on June 3 subsequent to the JEE Advanced result announcement.

Not only JEE Advanced eligible candidates can participate, but also JEE Main qualified candidates are allowed to apply for JoSAA counselling. However, JEE Main qualified candidates only have access to NIT+ admissions, while JEE Advanced candidates can apply for NIT+ and IIT seats.

Some other institutions will also accept JEE Advanced scores for admissions (undergraduate and dual degree courses), but they have independent admissions and do not participate in JoSAA counselling.

IIT Kanpur removed the JEE Advanced answer key earlier this month and invited objections from candidates from May 26 to 27. IIT Kanpur will consider candidates objections as feedback and will include them in preparation of the final answer key.

The JEE Advanced result will be based on the previous answer key.

JEE Advanced started on May 18, 2025. It was conducted for two papers- Paper I was from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper II was from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

JEE Advanced result 2025: Steps to check marks when announced

1. Visit the official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in.

2. Click on the JEE Advanced result 2025 link available on the home page.

3. Enter your login credentials

4. Submit and view the result.

While, IIT Kanpur will start the online registration for Architecture Aptitude Test 2025 on June 2 and will end on June 3, 2025. The exam will be conducted on June 5, 2025 in a single shift- from 9 AM to 12 noon and results will be released on June 8, 2025.
