Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja who have already retired from the T20 International cricket soon after winning the T20 World Cup on June 29, Saturday.
The retirement announcements of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja have made fans disheartened and made them worried about whether Jasprit Bumrah is also going to retire or not.
However, on Thursday, Jasprit Bumrah replying to questions about his possible retirement from the game's shortest format said, "It's is a long way away. I have just started. Hopefully, it is far away now.”

He said he wouldn’t retire so soon during the celebration of winning the ICC T20 World Cup on Thursday, July 4 at Wankhede Stadium.
This was Jasprit Bumrah's first T20 World Cup trophy after winning against South Africa in the finals of the ICC T20 World Cup at Barbados.
Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian cricket team pacer was among the key players for his team, his bowling performance was excellent this time. In difficult situations, he showed his magnificent bowling skills and took key wickets which led to India's victory.

In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, the Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah hold 15 wickets at an average of 8.2 with an astonishing economy rate of only 4.17.
However, during the felicitation at Wankhede Stadium, Jasprit Bumrah's family was also present and was seen taking pictures alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jasprit Bumrah got emotional seeing his son Angad attending the celebrations at Wankhede Stadium on Thursday.
While seeing his son, he said, “ It was unreal. Usually, I am not the one who is at a loss of words, but seeing my son, the emotions that came in. I never cry after the game, but I started crying, and I cried two, three times.”
However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) offered the India cricket team ₹125 crores for their efforts in winning the T20 World Cup.
