Jangpura Doctor Murder Case: Another murder case comes out in Jangpura, Delhi where a total of eight people were involved in 63-year-old Dr. Yogesh Chander Paul.
The main mastermind behind the murder was the housekeeper, Basanti, who is said to have been working in Dr. Yogesh's house for 24 years. Police arrested the three victims who were behind the Doctor’s murder including Basanti.
Along with Basanti, the police reported a man named Himanshu, a priest at Haridwar's Birla Ghat, and his brother, Akash Joshi.
Aakash kept watch on the street with another man while Himanshu and three other men broke into the flat at 7 pm and murdered Dr. Yogesh.

The police reported that some of the victims were from Nepal, According to DCP Rajesh Deo, Basanti took the help of her friends Varsha and Vishwaroop Sai from Haridwar, along with others for a share in the loot.
The police also reported that nearly Rs 4 lakh cash and 15 kg gold were stolen from the Doctor’s house, of which Rs 55,000 was recovered from Aakash.
The DCP said, “While at work, Basanti used Facebook Messenger to video call the accused and show them the layout of the house, entry and exit routes, where valuables were kept.”

The police also claimed that many of the victims had criminal backgrounds and were in debt.
The investigation officer said, “She was close to the Paul family and knew the ins and outs of their home.”
The investigations also said that Basanti had been planning to rob the family for quite a while then she invited her friend to help her with the robbery.Both thought of planning to rob the second-floor lawyer's house where she used to work but they found a better opportunity to rob the old age doctor. House as Dr Yogesh was alone when his wife was at the office.
The officer said, “Her friend’s husband got in touch with one of the accused, who was based in Haridwar and hailed from Nepal… this man roped in brothers Himanshu and Aakash.”

DCP Deo said through CCTV footage they found out that, “At 1.30 pm, Dr. Paul was walking back from his clinic on Birbal Road towards his house… footage showed two of the accused following him… and entering the house along with him… another accused can be seen entering the flat a while later and exiting after a few minutes… the other two come out at 3.05 pm.”
On Friday night, Dr Paul's wife found the body around 6:30 pm. Police through CCTV footage were able to create an electronic route from Jungpura to Sarai Kale Khan.
The footage shows at least six suspects leaving in groups of two. A massive on-ground operation was conducted to capture them. Basanti was the first to be captured and was taken into questioning.
After the investigation, the DCP said that all the victims went to the hotel by car from there Basanti's friend and her husband in a bus and Akash and his partner left for Haridwar, Basanti continued to do her daily work, and the other two location is still not identified.
