"I am definitely in love," declares Kushal Tandon: Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi, who met on the sets of Barsatein, have set the internet on fire with the confirmation of their relationship. After so much buzz around their off-screen chemistry post the success of Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka, the duo is now officially a couple. Fans call them "KuShiv".

Kushal Tandon in an exclusive interview with Times of India confirmed that he is dating Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) actress Shivangi Joshi, 26, but they are not planning to get married soon. Confirming his relationship with Shivangi Joshi, Kushal Tandon told Bombay Times, “I am not getting married right now but I am definitely in love." (sic).

Kushal, 39, not only confirmed their relationship but also gave us a glimpse of what’s to come. He also said they are taking it slow for now.

"My mother desperately wants to see me married, and unka bas chale toh meri shadi aaj hi karwa de (My mother desperately wants to see me married, and if it's upon her, then she might get me married today itself)," he said. He added, "Anything can happen anytime, but for now, we are taking things at our own pace."

Kushal Tandon also revealed that now his family has stopped looking for a bride for him. "The best part is that the search for a suitable girl for me by my parents has stopped now," he said.

“After my show Barsatein got over, I was giving a lot of time to myself – working on my physical health and my fitness. But now I will be picking up something. I have offers for web shows and TV both, so let’s see.” he added.

As soon as Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi’s news broke, fans on X, formerly Twitter, started reacting and many are happy and excited. Kushal and Shivangi, the “IT” couple on and off-screen are now the talk of the town with fans celebrating their love.

"Kushal sir we are waiting to watch your new show. I am very happy Omg my heart. Today is a day that touches our hearts. We will never forget today," a user wrote on X, expressing her happiness.

In the interview he said he is happy to have found the lady love of his life. This is the first time he is speaking about the relationship. Till now the actors had denied all the rumors.

Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi started dating rumors after the audience loved their on-screen chemistry and off-screen banter. After the show ended, fans were left wondering about the real life equation between the two. The show started in July 2023 and ended in February 2024.

Earlier it was reported that they were dating but Kushal had denied all the rumors. Earlier Shivangi was rumored to be dating her Balika Vadhu 2 co-star Randeep Rai. In 2022 Shivangi had dismissed the rumors calling Randeep her friend.

Meanwhile Kushal was in relationship with actress Gauhar Khan. Their love story started on the sets of Bigg Boss but they broke up in 2014.
