Iran Launches Hundreds Of Missiles Drones On Israel: In its first direct attack on Israeli territory, Iran launched hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel, wounding a 7-year-old girl and damaging an Israeli military facility.

Israeli air defenses intercepted the projectiles late on Saturday night, setting off air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and West Jerusalem.

More than 300 Iranian missiles, drones, and cruise missiles were fired, but 99 percent were intercepted by forces from France, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

According to the report, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen launched missiles.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "In recent years, and especially in recent weeks, Israel has been preparing for a direct attack by Iran. Our defensive systems are deployed; we are ready for any scenario, both defensively and offensively. The State of Israel is strong. The IDF is strong. The public is strong.

"We appreciate the U.S. standing alongside Israel, as well as the support of Britain, France and many other countries. We have determined a clear principle: Whoever harms us, we will harm them. We will defend ourselves against any threat and will do so level-headedly and with determination."

A girl was injured by shrapnel from an intercepted drone in southern Israel, and the military reported minor infrastructure damage to a [Israeli military base] in southern Israel.

As part of the punishment for the Zionist entity's crime of targeting the Iranian consulate in Syria on April 1, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched drones and missiles under the operation "True Promise".

The Iranian military action was in response to the Zionist regime's aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus. The matter can be considered closed.

During the raid in Damascus, 12 people were killed, including two senior generals from the IRGC's elite Quds force.

The attack on the consulate has neither been confirmed nor denied by Israel.

The Russian president also warned the United States not to interfere in Iran and Israel tensions, after the United States said it shot down some Iranian drones heading towards Israel.

Having fired missiles and drones at Israel, Iran's UN mission has now deemed the matter "concluded", warning of a "considerably more severe" response if the "Israeli regime makes another mistake".
