Exploring Israel Multilayered Air Defense Against Iran Unprecedented Attack: With hundreds of drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles, Iran launched an extensive attack early Sunday.
The Middle East has been pushed towards war by this act of aggression.
Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, the Israeli military spokesman, said Iran launched more than 300 threats. "That's a success." Asked if Israel would respond, Hagari said the country would do what was necessary to protect its citizens.

From short-range rockets to long-range ballistic missiles, Israel has built up a multilayered air defence system.
This intricate network is made up of several advanced systems developed with the US.
Iron Dome
The Iron Dome system has intercepted thousands of projectiles with a 90% success rate, specializing in shooting down short-range rockets. It protects Israeli lives and infrastructure against Hamas attacks in Gaza and Hezbollah attacks in Lebanon.
Incoming rockets pose a threat to populated areas or critical assets, and Iron Dome is designed to detect, analyze, and intercept them. An advanced computer system determines if incoming threats will land in an area that requires intercepting using radar.
Iron Beam
As the next frontier in Israeli air defence, Iron Beam uses laser technology to intercept incoming threats. It promises to revolutionize Israel's defense strategy.
David Sling
The David's Sling intercepts medium-range missiles, such as those possessed by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Arrow System
Developed in collaboration with the United States, Israel's Arrow system is the pinnacle of its defense against long-range ballistic missiles.
Designed to intercept incoming threats, including the ballistic missiles Iran claims to have launched, Arrow operates beyond Earth's atmosphere. As a result of its successful deployment in Yemen, it has successfully intercepted long-range missiles launched by the Houthi militants.
Patriot System
Israel's Patriot missile system intercepted Iraqi Scud missiles during the First Gulf War, and can now be used to target aircraft and drones, providing a robust defense against a wide range of aerial threats.
As a result, these defense systems are a crucial part of Israel's defense.
Iran was "risking a potential military escalation," Britain called it "reckless," and Germany said Iran and its proxies "must stop this right now."
