Four people were killed in a road accident in Assam's Hojai district
According to Nikhil Chandra Roy, Officer-in-Charge of Murajhar police station, the accident took place around 3:30 am and he was informed about the same over the phone by some sources.

The accident involved a road-related mishap in which 4 persons were killed after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed against a wall at Nilbagan area in Hojai district of Assam in early hours of Saturday morning, said police.

The reports also show that all the four deceased individuals were in a car in the direction of going to Karbi Anglong side.

"The speedy vehicle hit a roadside wall. Three people died on the spot, and another succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. All four deceased persons have been identified, and we have informed their family members," the police officer said.
The bodies have been sent by police for the post-mortem to the hospital.
