Several days after a Russian woman and her two children were discovered residing in a cave in Karnataka in the Gokarna district, the children father has stepped forward and claimed that he wants to be near his children.
Israeli citizen, Dror Goldstein has come out to say that he would like to co-parent the children together with a Russian woman Nina Kutina who was discovered a few days ago living in a cave with two of her daughters.
"My wish is to be close to my two daughters. I demand shared custody. I want to be able to meet them, to be close to them and to be a father. That's all," Goldstein told news agency PTI.

Earlier it was seen that the Russian woman told police that the father of her children is an Israeli businessman, and that she had delivered one of the daughters when she was living in a cave in Goa.
In an Indian Express report, Nina had met the Israeli citizen some years ago and the two developed affection and had their two daughters Preya (6) and Ama (4).
The Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) is said to have contacted the father and the publication had indicated that it would take about a month to reason with Nina and her children to be deported to Russia.
Although her being found in a cave struck a lot of people, Nina Kutina has actually justified the action as her family is a lover of nature and that she has been staying in forests of more than 20 countries throughout the last decade and a half.
"My children were all born in different places. I delivered all of them myself, without hospitals or doctors, because I know how to do it. No one helped me, I did it alone,” she was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Investigations by a report in the New York Times reveal that Nina travelled to India not so long ago with two sons and a daughter. Her first son is not alive having died at 21 years and she does not know where her other son is.

Her business visa lapsed in the year 2017 and since then, she has been overstaying due what she terms as, several complex reasons.
“First, there were multiple personal losses - not just the death of my son, but also a few other close people. We were constantly dealing with grief, paperwork, and other problems,” she told PTI.
On a routine police inspection, on July 11, Nina together with her daughters were discovered living in a concealed cave at Gokarna.
The now-rescued Russian woman claims to have lived "peacefully" in the cave and characterizes her current situation as "uncomfortable."
