Eight Killed in Wall Collapse in Delhi’s Jaitpur Amid Heavy Monsoon Rains
Police teams and three fire tenders were rushed to the spot, the Delhi Fire Service said.

Eight died when a wall collapsed in the presence of heavy rains in Harinagar, Jaitapur, Mohan Baba Mandir in the national capital on Saturday (August 9, 2025) morning.

Police teams and three fire tenders were rushed to the spot, the Delhi Fire Service said.
It said that on Saturday morning, 9.16 am the fire department received a call about the incident.

Officials also could not determine exactly what caused the collapse.
Heavy rain lashed the national capital at night and a red alert has been issued by the India Meterological Department during the day. The shower started late on Friday (August 8, 2025), 11 p.m., and lashed several areas of Delhi-NCR
