Delhi Weather Alert: IMD Predicts Rising Temperatures and Yellow Warning for Monday
As per the IMD forecast, Delhi is expected to experience a high temperature of 44 degrees Celsius on Monday, and on Tuesday and Wednesday a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius.

Delhi Weather Alert: Delhi is experiencing an intense heatwave whereas Maharashtra and Goa are experiencing heavy rain.
The India Meteorological Department released a yellow alert in Delhi on Monday, IMD expected the temperature to rise more on June 10.
On June 9, Saturday due to clouds the temperature in Delhi recorded a low of 41.4 degrees Celsius than the previous day's high temperature of 43 degrees Celsius.
As per the IMD forecast, Delhi is expected to experience a high temperature of 44 degrees Celsius on Monday, and on Tuesday and Wednesday a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius.
IMD forecast said, “Heatwaves are expected to continue over areas of East India & Uttar Pradesh over the next five days.”

The reason for this rise in temperature could be because of rainfall that took place in a few parts OF Delhi which has led to the rise in humidity.
The IMD also said, “The temperature will start to rise from Sunday and with the possibility of extreme heatwaves from Monday onwards due to warm westerly winds.”
Hindustan Times reported that on Saturday Delhi's air quality index recorded 234 at 4 pm.It is signified in the poor category by the Central Pollution Control Board’s daily national bulletin.
However, the Air qualify in Delhi is expected to stay like that for the rest of this weekend.
IMD also said that the parts of Maharashtra and Goa have experienced heavy rainfalls in the area. Thane and Palghar districts of Maharashtra due to which water-logging in some areas took place.
This temperature rise has led to several heatstroke cases across Delhi. Earlier due to this Intense Delhi Heatwave, a 40-year-old factory worker died due to severe heatstroke, his body temperature rose to 107 degrees Celsius.
