Delhi News: 3 Dead in Daryaganj Building Collapse
The deceased were named as Zubair, Gulsagar and Taufiq who were labouring in the premise when the structure collapsed, police said.

Delhi News: On Wednesday, three workers died as a three-storey building collapsed in Daryaganj in the centre of Delhi near Sadbhavna Park, officials said.
Police identified the deceased as Zubair, Gulsagar and Taufiq; they were identified as working in the location when the structure collapsed. The three were buried in the debris and died on arrival in hospital.

"Information about the incident was received at 12.14 pm, following which a police team, four fire tenders and rescue officials rushed to the spot. The injured were moved to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital. Civic authorities, including the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), have been informed. Legal action will be taken after verification of facts," the officer said.
An official of Delhi Fire Services (DFS) said the building suddenly collapsed as some construction was going on.
"Three persons were rescued from the debris and immediately shifted to hospital. Rescue operations are still on," the officer added.

Shortly after the incident, teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) too became a part of the operation, who, along with Delhi Police, fire brigade men, and DDMA staff worked as a unit. The rescuers entered the rubbles to search through the debris as heavy machinery were brought in to clear the debris.
The sources indicated that the collapse was preceded by some construction works being done in that site. Nevertheless, its cause of the collapse is not determined yet.
Police said further investigation was underway.
