Delhi NCR Schools Closed: With Delhi facing the highest pollution that has been recorded since 2019 and a 24 hour AQI of 494 being reported on Monday, the Delhi and NCR region comprises Noida, Gurgaon, and Faridabad has taken quick measures. All the schools have been closed and all students of Class 12 and below are not going to school physically and school has been shifted online.

The ban on all schools in Noida was until Class 12 when the Stage IV Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) was implemented once again in the National Capital Region which also covers the two Western UP districts.

The Delhi University (DU) has denied that there is a fake winter holiday notice recently circulating online. The devious notification claimed that the university and its constituent colleges have declared a winter recess between November 19 and 27.

In order to combat pollution, Delhi government has encouraged the employees of the government offices to work from home. As part of the policy, a work from home of 50 per cent has been proposed. A meeting will be held with the members in the Secretariaat at 1pm today on the matter.

And working parents have found themselves having to meet work targets earlier than planned or seek for extension, due to the abrupt transition of classes to online mode.

Dads like Kumar, who have jobs at home, also complete some office work as well as chores. For them, this too has been adding pangs of pressure which has for the most part diminished the quality time spent with their children.
