2024 Jharkhand Phase 2 Elections LIVE: Voting Across 38 Assembly Constituencies
Voting for Phase 2 of the Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024 began today.

2024 Jharkhand Phase: Voting for Phase 2 of the Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024 began today.
The vote will take place in 38 constituencies across 12 districts throughout the state.
528 people are vying for 38 seats in this phase, including 55 women and one third-gender candidate, as well as 472 men.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, his wife Kalpana Soren, and his sister-in-law Sita Soren from the JMM are among the leading contenders.
Former chairman Minister Babulal Marandi, Assembly Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahto (JMM), AJSU Party chairman Sudesh Mahto, and Leader of the Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri are among the BJP leaders in the second phase.
To ensure that the elections go smoothly, 14,218 polling booths have been set up in both rural and urban areas. The first phase of the Jharkhand polls was held in 43 of 81 assembly seats on November 13.The results for all 81 constituencies will be declared on November 23, along with side for the Maharashtra Assembly elections and by-polls across several states.

Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024, PM Modi tweeted, ‘Today is the second and last phase of the great festival of democracy in Jharkhand. I urge all voters to participate in it enthusiastically and create a new record of voting.

Jharkhand BJP president & candidate from Dhanwar, Babulal Marandi offered prayers earlier today at his residence and took the blessings of his mother, Mina Murmu.
