Death Threat Against Yogi Adityanath in Mumbai: Mumbai Traffic Police claim to have received a threat message calling for the beheading of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The message, from an unknown number, comes as a WhatsApp message which threatens Yogi Adityanath with beheading if he does not resign as the chief minister within the next 10 days. The ominous message reads, "He will be killed like Baba Siddique" which refers to the shooting death of the former minister and NCP leader (Ajit Pawar) some time last month in Bandra.

The threatening message was received on Saturday evening by the Traffic Control Cell. The police are investigating the source and sender of the threat.
With a possibility of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visiting Maharashtra to head the campaign for state assembly elections, the police is put on high alert. Precautionary measure, in this case, security has been increased manifold for Chief Minister Adityanath following this alarming intimation.
"Mumbai traffic Police Control Room received a death threat regarding UP CM Yogi Adityanath, yesterday. The message said that if CM Yogi doesn't resign in 10 days, he will be killed like Baba Siddique. Mumbai Police Traffic Control Cell received the message from an unknown number. Police probe is underway to find the sender of the message," Mumbai police said in a statement.

Baba Siddique was shot dead by three assailants outside his son's office on 12th October while celebrating Dussehra, putting the region on the tenterhooks.
Just a few days after Bollywood actor Salman Khan received a threat call from an unknown number asking for ₹2 crore, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, has been receiving such a threat message.
Death threats to Khan had arrived earlier from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Suspected members of the gang had opened fire outside the actor's Bandra home in April this year.
A few months ago, the Navi Mumbai police unearthed a plot to kill the actor by Bishnoi gang, and Khan's security was enhanced further.
A 66-year-old politician was shot in his chest; he was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital. The leader had received a death threat only 15 days ago, and he had 'Y' category security.
So far, the police have arrested 15 accused in the case and are still on the lookout for the alleged masterminds Gautam, Zeeshan Akhtar, and Shubham Lonkar. The main shooter Shivkumar Gautam is also an absconder. In connection with the case, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch initiated the process for the extradition of Gangster Anmol Bishnoi, who is the brother of the jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
