Banks closed November 2024: The Reserve Bank of India has announced a Bank holiday on November 2, 2024, on the occasion of Diwali. As per the November 2024 bank holiday list, all banks will remain shut down on Saturday, and customers can only use digital payments and ATM services.
There is a total of 13 bank holidays in November 2024 including national and regional holidays and Saturdays and Sundays. This month, as banks will remain closed for 13 days due to the observance of several events such as events including Diwali Amavasya (Laxmi Pujan), Kut Festival, Kannada Rajyotsava, Balipadyami, Vikram Samvat New Year, Chhath and Wangala Festival, among others.
The Reserve Bank of India declares bank holidays varying from state to state on its website. All banks across India will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of November month on the occasion of a public holiday.

- November 12: Egas-Bagwal
- November 15: Guru Nanak Jayanti
- November 17: Sunday
- November 18: Kanakadasa Jayanti
- November 23: Seng Kutsnem, Fourth Saturday
- November 24: Sunday
Banks in Karnataka and Maharashtra will be closed for four days in a row from November 1–3. All banks in Uttarakhand and Sikkim will be shut down for three days, banks in Meghalaya will be closed on November 23.
On these holidays, customers can only use digital banking services like ATMs, online banking, and mobile apps.
