Congress Slams FIR Against Rahul Gandhi for ‘Defending Ambedkar’s Legacy’: Calls It a ‘Badge of Honour
The Congress party has condemned the first information report (FIR) filed against Rahul Gandhi in connection with a recent scuffle in Parliament, labelling it as “a diversionary tactic” in response to his strong protest against Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks regarding BR Ambedkar.

In a post on X, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that a case against Rahul Gandhi for defending Babasaheb’s legacy is a “badge of honour”.
“The FIR against Shri Rahul Gandhi ji is nothing but a diversionary tactic in response to his staunch protest against the Home Minister.” Venugopal wrote in the post.
Starting early this morning, the political opponents indulged in competitive sloganeering in Parliament seeking one another’s apology. While the BJP said the Congress had always undermined Ambedkar and used his name for politics, the Congress said the BJP and the RSS were anti-Constitution.

She sought protection from Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar.
"I felt that his action today was really bad and I feel disheartened and no lady member, let alone me should be made to feel like this. So therefore I seek your protection in this matter, for which I have already sent a notice to you sir (Rajya Sabha Chairman)," she said.

BJP had filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi under various sections including 109 (attempt to murder), 115 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
“Everyone has seen what Rahul did. His conduct was un-Indian because Indian culture does not teach us to disrespect women or push elders.
