Atlee Reveals Secret: Atlee, one of the finest filmmakers in India, has talked about how he thinks all his films are hit or will be hits at the box office. Busy with Baby John, the Hindi version of his Tamil blockbuster Theri, featuring Varun Dhawan in the lead, Atlee is going to be released on December 25.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Atlee shared insights about his journey and the reason all six films of his have hit the jackpot at the box office. He has held the title of having made mass-bustling films, such as Jawan featuring Shah Rukh Khan, and Atlee credits the public success to risk-taking and crafting "mass" moment scenes.

He remembered how Vijay, the leading man in the two films Bigil and Theri, was convinced to present a different take on the character that audience members really liked. Atlee also shared how he convinced Shah Rukh Khan when making Jawan about Vikram Rathore's character: the older man, who would be a big hit with fans.

“When I told Shah Rukh sir for Jawan, ‘Sir, you wait and watch, Vikram Rathore is going to be a mass character,’ he initially disagreed, saying, ‘Girls like me; Azad will be massy.’ After watching the film, he admitted I was right,” Atlee said. The director elaborated on his unique understanding of the term “mass.” The director expanded on the idea of his unique understanding of the mass. It is about having an instant emotional reaction rather than about the flashy action or loud moments.

“Mass is a mother feeling, not an alien feeling. When you tear up for a girl, an emotion, or a baby, that is mass. When you feel anger for the right reasons or stand up for society, that is mass. These are the real ‘mass’ moments,” Atlee shared. Thus he believes that this makes the emotional dive into audiences a reason why all his films do not fail at the box office but also take huge amounts.

Apart from co-producing Baby John, Atlee is said to be preparing to announce his next film as a director. There are speculations where it is said Salman has agreed to work with Atlee, although he mentions there's one Tamil film with Vijay Sethupathi that is coming up.
