Arvind Kejriwal Hearing On May 10: On May 7, the bench, Justice Sanjiv Khanna after hearing from the ED Lawyer and Arvind Kejriwal said that the court will announce its statement on interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal in the money laundering case on May 10.
The two-judge, Justices Khanna and Dipankar Datta after hearing all the arguments posed on the interim bail plea said that the court will allow Arvind Kejriwal to contest the Lok Sabha elections.

ED was against the statement and said that granting him bail would put him in a separate class, all laws are the same for everyone, and granting him bail was hardly a fundamental right.
The statement from Bhanu Priya, ED Director read, "The right to campaign for an election is not a fundamental, constitutional or legal right. To ED's knowledge, no political leader has been granted interim bail for campaigning even though he is not the contesting candidate."
Arvind Kejriwal was arrested for a money laundering case on March 21 and was said in custody till May 20. He was the main character in the liquid case.
According to the report from ED, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was said to received money from a group for enforcing the Delhi Excise Policy.
Reports also said that the Enforcement Directorate will submit the first chargesheet On May 10 which will prove Kejriwal as a suspect in the liquid case.
The ED further added that any criminal politician like Kejriwal can escape investigations on the excuse of elections.
Thus, as the first chargesheet on Arvind Kejriwal being represented by ED for the first time, it will fuel up tomorrow's hearing in the court.
