"But what can be done?" Anna Hazare is "very upset" of Arvind Kejriwal actions

In a video, Hazare also said that the Delhi Chief Minister's arrest was because of what he did.
According to Anna Hazare, he is "very upset" that Arvind Kejriwal, who used to oppose alcohol with him, is now making liquor policies as well. Hazare also claimed that the arrest of the Delhi Chief Minister was a result of his own actions in a video.
"I am very saddened, that a man like Arvind Kejriwal, who used to work with me and had raised his voice against liquor, today he is preparing liquor policy," he said.
"Now, he has been arrested...I always said that I put the welfare of the country in front. They (Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia) did not keep this in mind. The law and government will do what is right. I won't give them any advice now...I don't feel sad (on Kejriwal's condition)," Anna Hazare said.
"But what can be done? He got arrested due to his deeds. Had he not done anything, there was no question of his being arrested. Whatever happens now should happen according to the law," the activist added.
The ED arrested Kejriwal late Thursday evening in connection with an excise policy-related money laundering case. For wholesalers, the Delhi liquor policy 2021-22 provided an exceptionally high profit margin of 12 percent and for retailers, nearly 185 percent, according to the probe agency.
Six percent of the 12 percent was to be recovered from wholesalers as kickbacks to AAP leaders, and the 'South Group' allegedly gave Rs 100 crore in advance to another accused, Vijay Nair.
Mr Hazare has also opposed the policy in the past
"This is the first time I am writing to you since you became chief minister, because I am pained at recent news reports about your government's liquor policy. Like liquor, power too intoxicates. You are intoxicated by power, it seems," Anna Hazare had written in the letter to Mr Kejriwal.
In 2022, Mr Hazare wrote to Arvind Kejriwal to express his "pain" over the policy.
The anti-corruption movement that led to the AAP's rise in 2011 was led by Anna Hazare. He gave the party his "blessings" at the time, even though he chose to stay out — avoiding electoral politics — but has since criticized it on several points. Mr Kejriwal has avoided direct retaliation.
AAP has asserted that Arvind Kejriwal will continue as Delhi Chief Minister despite his arrest, and he will go to trial court, as is protocol, following the arrest.
