Apoorva Mukhija Receives Rape and Death Threats: During the week when this controversy peaked, the social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija received rape threats through calls for her comments, which were perceived as objectionable, on comedian Samay Raina's now-defunct popular YouTube show, 'India's Got Latent.'
Content creator and close friend of Mukhija, Rida Tharana, is putting her platform to use, speaking against the online threats that beset the controversy-hit influencer.

It was during the post in which Apoorva Mukhija was said to have received threats of sexual assault, Tharana wrote,"I've never doubted that some people hate women simply for being women just for breathing, existing, loving themselves, and daring to grow. A woman could have the same issue as anyone else, but the fact that she's a woman always makes it worse. How do you ever feel safe when you're constantly threatened, scared for your life, and living in a country that was supposed to protect you?"
At 8:03 am, October 4, 2023: It has ordered the removal of the episode from the YouTube platform on the directives of the central government. The program, "India has Got Latent," started somewhere in June 2024 and aired 18 episodes so far.
Ranveer Allahbadia found himself mired in a huge controversy regarding the comments he made about parents and sex on Raina's show, which has now gone viral on social networking sites about two Mondays ago, provoking huge outcries and police complaints in Mumbai and Guwahati.
Also appearing on that show, Mukhija faced a backlash over her indecent comments.

Beerbiceps or Allahbadia claimed he apologized for "lapse in judgement," but sadly, the controversy never died down.
Mumbai Police record Apoorva Mukhija's statement
On Wednesday, the Mumbai Police registered statements of four persons including social media influencer Apoorva Mukherjee regarding the controversial comments made by Ranveer Allahbadia in the YouTube show "India's Got Latent."
In another development, Mukhija has been removed from the list of the official ambassadors of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) that will host its awards ceremony in Rajasthan's Jaipur next month.
