Anushka Sharma’s Fans Rally Behind Her After Virat Kohli’s Twin ODI Ducks: Since Indian cricketer and actress Anushka Sharma announced their relationship several years ago and especially since they got married in 2017, Anushka has always appeared to have taken the blame when Virat drops the ball. It is the same a few years later, as the actor is again being dogged by trolls who think that she needs to be held accountable to Virat having gotten an ODI duck after ODI duck against Australia in the recent past. She has however been defended by her fans.

Going to social media and typing the name Anushka in the search, one will find a myriad of memes and posts that somehow implicate her in the poor performance of Virat. Numerous posts have captions like, “I blame anushka sharma for his failure,” and “Virat Kolhi is a living example of how having a wrong partner can completely destroy your career. He might feel better about being turned into a "gentleman". But it came at what cost?” Several others also blamed her for somehow doing ‘irreparable damage’ to his career. One horrendously even wished for her death, writing, “If God is real she died today in London.”

The fans of Anushka were not having it though. In the statements, they attacked the misogyny. One Threads user wrote, “It’s cute how men’s fragile egos need a woman to blame every time their favorite player has a bad day.” Another pointed out, “That girl is being getting trolled since their dating era. These people just want to blame on others for the poor performance of their favs.” One X user wrote, “Shame on Kohli fans for dragging his wife anushka Sharma after his second consecutive duck.”

Some of the fans even suggested that this could be the cause that Virat and Anushka decided to move their family to London. To the non-experts, Virat and Anushka got married in 2017 having dated. They have a daughter by the name of Vamika and a son by the name Akay. The couple is low profile and attempts to lead their private life. The last movie that Anushka appeared in was Zero in 2018. Her sports movie Chakda xpress has been shelved and she has not announced any future projects.
