Angelina Jolie Finds Closure: Angelina Jolie hopes to turn a new leaf with Brad Pitt in 2025 after settling their eight-year-long divorce case toward the end of last year. According to People, the exes signed off on their divorce on Monday, December 30.
The lawyer, James Simon, said in a brief statement that the settlement was "just one part of a long, ongoing process that started eight years ago."Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over," he said. No other details were immediately available. A representative for Pitt declined to comment, as per reports.
A source close to Jolie tells PEOPLE that she hopes Pitt can now "move on" and "stop attacking her."

"Brad has successfully used his power and his privilege to cover up his conduct at his family’s expense, to punish Angelina for leaving, and even to attempt to paint her as the reason why his relationship is so challenging with the children," says the source.
A source close to Pitt, however, rebutted Jolie’s claims, telling People, 'Jolie has engaged in one-sided attacks for the past eight years, including a never-ending distortion of facts and projecting their own behavior onto others, causing tremendous collateral damage to those in and around the family.'
The former couple, famously known as 'Brangelina,' signed off on their divorce paperwork this week.
' Frankly, Angelina is exhausted,' Simon said.

' More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,' he added.
Her lawyers said in court documents that the couple had agreed in principle in 2021 that she would sell her share of the business to Pitt. But negotiations broke down over his demand that she sign a nondisclosure agreement, they said.
That agreement would have prohibited Jolie from speaking outside of court about his "physical and emotional abuse of her and their children," her lawyers said.
