Swati Maliwal Assault, Claims CCTV Footage Is Deleted And Photo Has Been Formatted

Swati Maliwal Assault: Soon after the arrest of Bibhav Kumar, Swati Maliwal asserted that the CCTV Videos of her assault at Arvind Kejriwal's house had been deleted and replaced with ‘edited videos,' also she claimed that the phones had been formatted.

Earlier, Delhi police visited CM’s Kejriwal house for a search but couldn’t find any related to the assault.

After Bibhav Kumar, Arvind Kejriwal's Aide was taken into custody for 7 days a huge group of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Leaders on Sunday took to the road to protest the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal's Aide.

Replying to the Protest, Swati Maliwal said in her X account, “There was a time when we all came out on the streets to get justice for Nirbhaya. Today, after 12 years”

She further questioned, “We are out on the streets to save the accused who made the CCTV footage disappear and formatted the phone?”

Adding to it she said, “I wish I had used this much force for Manish Sisodia ji. If he had been here, maybe this bad thing wouldn't have happened to me!”

Earlier she did another Twitter post by reposting a post from ANI that said, “Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for Delhi Police, Atul Srivastava argues on custody of Bibhav Kumar.

The post further read, “We asked for the DVR, that was provided in a pen drive...Footage was found to be blank. An iPhone has been given to the Police, but now the accused is not sharing the password. The phone has been formatted. Additional public prosecutor submits that the accused was present even today at the place of occurrence”

Reposting it Swati Maliwal said on Twitter X, “First Bibhav beat me brutally. He slapped and kicked me. When I freed myself and called 112, he went outside and called security and started making a video. I was screaming and telling the security that Bibhav had beaten me brutally. That entire long part of the video was edited. Only 50 seconds were released when I was fed up of explaining to the security guys. Now they formatted the phone and deleted the entire video? CCTV footage is also missing! Even conspiracy has its limits!”

Kumar had been apprehended earlier that day by the Delhi Police. Later, his anticipatory bail plea was deemed "infructuous" by a Delhi court.

According to the reports from IndiaToday, “The police also told that when asking Bibhav Kumar for his phone password he did not provide and he also said that his phone has been formatted due to some defect in Mumbai.”
