Subhadra Yojana: How to Check Beneficiary Status as Third Phase of First Instalment is Released
The government of Odisha announced in Sundargarh that it had completed the transfer of the third phase of the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana.
Subhadra Yojana: On November 24, 2024, the government of Odisha announced in Sundargarh that it had completed the transfer of the third phase of the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana. This transfer consisted of Rs 5,000 each to more than 20 lakh women as it reached a third phase of disbursement. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi was quoted by The Times of India as saying that the scheme, which is said to empower the women, involved transfers exceeding Rs 1,000 crore.
The scheme, which has benefited 80 lakh women, has now launched its final phase of distributing the first installment. By the end of December, this government shall reach its goal of more than 1 crore women.

Majhi said, The Subhadra Yojana will strengthen more than 1 crore mothers and sisters and become the largest public welfare scheme of Odisha. He added that the earlier government was talking about Mission Shakti, from which interest-free loans were provided. The Subhadra scheme provides direct financing to women of the state, Majhi said.
In Sundargarh district, over 4.59 lakh women have registered for the Subhadra scheme, and in this third phase, more than 3.37 lakh of them have received their first installment.
Majhi also inaugurated 988 projects worth Rs 1,282 crore for the Sundargarh district. Of these, Majhi inaugurated 692 schemes at an investment of Rs 808.3 crore. He laid the foundation stone for 288 projects amounting to Rs 312.3 crore of projected investment.
Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, speaking at the occasion, underscored the commitment of the state government towards women's development. Over 1 crore women have already had their documents digitized from home, said Deputy CM Pravati Parida, highlighting the huge enthusiasm among women for the Subhadra scheme.

Here is how to check your beneficiary status for the Subhadra Yojana:
- Step 1: Visit the official website subhadra.odisha.gov.in.
- Step 2: Now, on the homepage, seek Beneficiary List option appearing.
- Step 3: Select your district, tehsil, gram panchayat and ward.
- Step 4: This list will show the names of the approved beneficiaries. If your name is on that list, then you are entitled to get a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) payment from the scheme. Track installment.
Note that since your name appears on the list, you will receive payments directly into your Bank Account through DBT.

Applicants can submit their online applications via the Subhadra portal (subhadra.odisha.gov.in) by providing the necessary details and uploading relevant documents.
