The Sports Minister further said in his statement that, 'You cannot ignore India in any sport. India has contributed a lot to sports, especially cricket. Therefore, the World Cup will be organized next year, and it will be a grand and historic event. Anurag Thakur gave his opinion on all these things at the time of announcement of Khelo India Youth 2022 held in New Delhi. In his statement, he also said that, 'The safety of the players is paramount. The Home Ministry will decide whether the Indian cricket team will participate in the 2023 Asia Cup in Pakistan.
