Revanth Reddy Slams BJP After Police Summons in Amit Shah Fake Video Case.
Revanth Reddy Slams BJP: On Monday, the Delhi Police summoned Telangana Chief Minister and Congress leader Revanth Reddy in connection with doctored videos circulated on social media platforms of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
On May 1, the Congress leader will appear before the Delhi Police's Cyber Unit.
Special cell of Delhi Police doctored Amit Shah's remarks about reservations and circulated them online.
Police were informed about a doctored video of Shah advocating the end of Muslim quotas in Telangana by the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C).

According to the MHA, a doctored video is spreading misleading information, potentially causing public disorder and discord in communities.
Amit Shah was falsely shown advocating the end of the 4% "unconstitutional" Muslim reservation in Telangana in the original video, according to the BJP.
Besides the five people summoned by Delhi Police, Assam Police has arrested one person in connection with the doctored videos.
In response to the summons, Revanth Reddy accused the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of using the Delhi Police for political purposes.

"After ED, CBI and Income Tax Department, Narendra Modi is using the Delhi Police to win elections. No one is going to get scared here. We have people who will respond to such tactics. We will defeat Narendra Modi and Amit Shah in the Lok Sabha elections, especially in Telangana and Karnataka," Reddy said while addressing a poll rally.
A FIR has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and relevant provisions of the IT Act by the Special Cell.
As soon as the video went viral on social media, several Congress leaders claimed that "the BJP will abolish reservation quotas for SCs, STs, and OBCs if it wins the Lok Sabha elections."
Delhi Police has also requested Facebook and X to share the details of the accounts that uploaded the allegedly morphed video.
According to the BJP, Shah's video promising to scrap reservations for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is a fake.
