Rashmika Mandanna Gets Emotional Over Note on Bond With Vijay Deverakonda: ‘Find a Love That Liberates You’

Actor Rashmika Mandanna, who has just entered a new life with husband Vijay Deverakonda, did not restrain her feelings after reading a touching letter dedicated to her love to him. Being touched by the words, she admitted that she was overwhelmed at the moment.

Rashmika Mandanna becomes emotional

On Monday, Rashmika went to X, the old Twitter, to express her emotion after she came across the post of a social media user.

The article on the post was about romantic optimism in a cynical age with references to the relationship between Rashmika and Vijay. The social media user, also wrote a moving note on admiration as one of the silent but strong ways of expressing love, in which she wrote, “Sometimes the most honest proof of love is simply admiration. Watching @iamRashmika look at @TheDeverakonda reminded me of that…”

Rashmika also contemplated in her response what love actually means to her, and that it must be free.

In response to the post on social media, Rashmika confessed that it had taken a long time since someone wrote about her and touched her such an emotional reaction.

“I have never become so emotional reading something written about me this much in a long long time.. There is so much I want to say but so little I can say,” Rashmika wrote.

The actor continued, “I am finding my own room and that’s a journey I am so grateful for...Thank you for recognising it… About love all I can say is - Find a love that liberates you.”

Rashmika has also recently won the Best Actress at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2025 because of her acting in the film The Girlfriend. and proud husband Vijay sent him a congratulatory message of his joy and pride. St.a.r.s.haring the award poster through his Instagram story, Vijay wrote, "Happy and proud." Rashmika was touched by the same, and responded to Vijay's post with her own message, writing, "Vijuu!! I love it when you say you are proud."

Rashmika marries Vijay Deverakonda

Rashmika and Vijay made the relationship official and got married on February 26, 2026, at the lavish ITC Mementos, Udaipur. They at least shared vows in a close family and friends gathering. This was a special wedding because it combined two different cultures of Telugu rituals of Vijay and Kodava (Coorgi) rituals of Rashmika. Anamika Khanna was a designer of wedding outfits of Vijay and Rashmika. As a way of celebrating their marriage, the Telugu stars hosted a grand reception to their industry friends in Hyderabad on March 4. The couple became engaged in October last year and only in February, when they announced that they are getting married.

Rashmika and Vijay appeared in two Telugu movies - 2018 romantic comedy Geetha Govindam and 2019 action film Dear Comrade. They kept their relationship to themselves until the news broke that they were getting married.
