PM Modi’s US Visit Itinerary (Sept 21-23): The External Affairs Ministry announced today, that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a trip to USA from September 21 to 23. The Ministry outlined the schedule on PM Modi’s US trip indicating various activities that he is schedule to undertake.
The most anticipated event of Modi’s US visit will be the Quad leaders’ summit on Saturday September 21 at Wilmington in Delaware.
The meet organized by the US president Joe Biden at his home town. It pragmatically important because Biden himself is not going to seek re-election for a second time. If India got the opportunity to again host the next Quad summit next year, the United States will have a new president.

“This will be President Biden's first time hosting foreign leaders in Wilmington as president -- a reflection of his deep personal relationships with each of the Quad Leaders, and the importance of the Quad to all of our countries,” the president's spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre was quoted by AFP as saying.
The Quad summit will also include the Japan’s Prime minister Fumio Kishida and Australian prime minister Anthony Albanese. As claimed by MEA, the leaders of Quad will discuss the performance of this alliance within the past year.
They will spell out the vision for the year in order to support the development objectives and desire of the countries of the Indo-Pacific region, the MEA noted.
In New York, the PM Modi will interact with the members of the Indian community at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the Sunday. PTI says over 24,000 people of the Indian origin have registered for the event ‘Modi & US’ Progress Together.
The PM will also engage with CEOs of major US-based firms to facilitate deeper cooperation between India and the US in the emergent sectors of AI, quantum computing, semiconductors and biomedical technology, the MEA stated.
Modi is also likely to meet with policy makers and other actors engaged in the India-US bi-lateral space.

Mind you Prime Minister Modi is expected to speak at the ‘Summit of the Future’ to be held at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The theme for this year’s Summit is ‘Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow’.
Many leaders of the various countries of the world are anticipated to attend the Summit. During the margins of the Summit, Prime Minister would be engaging in bilateral talks with several leaders of other countries and bilateral matters of concern would be under discussion as stated by the MEA.
