‘No Let-Up in Cross-Border Terror’: MEA Slams Pakistan for Backing Terrorism Against India
In its official report of the year 2024, India has steadfastly requested the Pakistan government to take concrete, verifiable and un-reversible action on curbing terrorism sponsored by Pakistan.
‘No Let-Up in Cross-Border Terror’: India has lashed at Pakistan saying it has not resented its support to terrorist ever since there has been no decrease in cross border terrorism.
According to the official report released by the Ministry of External Affairs ( MEA ) in the year 2024, India has constantly requested Pakistan to make some concrete, verifiable and irreversible measures against terror attacks originating in Pakistan.

“Several UN-designated terrorists and terrorist entities continue to thrive in Pakistan. Pakistan has not demonstrated any sincerity in delivering justice to the families of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks," it said.
The military tussle that followed the Indian armed forces bombing nine sites of terrorists in Pakistan and PoK following the Pahalgam terror attack that witnessed the death of 26 people in April this year witnessed India and Pakistan getting into a military conflict.
India is still also exposed to cross-border terrorist threat, hostile/fake propaganda that is generated by Pakistan the MEA said.
“Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism remains a core concern. India has persistently asked Pakistan to respect the January 2004 commitment of not allowing its soil/ territory under its control to be used for terrorism against India. There has been no let-up in cross-border terrorism," read the statement.

The ministry noted that Pakistan designs disinformation campaigns and anti-India propaganda around the world, to demonise India. “The Indian government has completely and unequivocally rejected in entirety all such actions and statements by Pakistan on matters which are completely internal to India," it added.
According to the report of MEA, the application of military-type armaments, asset drones, communication gadgets and underground passages used by the terrorists to infiltrate, and the movement of arms and medicines into India by cross-border trafficking across the Line of Control and the International Boundary indicates the presence of a more developed eco-system to support terrorism that is aimed against India has support of a state.
The MEA stated that India raises the question of terrorism between India and Pakistan on the different bilateral and multilateral platforms such as the UN. “Instances of crossborder infiltration, ceasefire violations, illegal construction along the border, smuggling of narcotics and weapons and violation of bilateral agreements have also been regularly raised through diplomatic channels with Pakistan. This has led to a greater awareness in the international community on Pakistan’s use of terrorism as a tool of statecraft," it added.
