Organs Turned Black, Insects Present: The remains of the Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali had been lying unseen in her fancy Karachi apartment almost a year before her death, with the first post-mortem report showing no suspicion of violation.
A week ago, a police team that entered the flat on a court order to evict the flat found the decomposed body of the 32-year-old actor, Geo News reported.

The internal post-mortem is quite dismal. Forensic experts confirm that the body of Humaira was in its advanced stage of decomposition where major organs were in a lump-state that was not identified anymore and the facial features were totally unrecognisable.
The body parts were "completely deprived of muscles" and the bones were starting to "dissolve when touched," the report quoted.
Organs became black according to the findings in a post-mortem condition indicates
Brain tissue had undergone full decomposition through autolysis, internal organs congealed to a "black-coloured mass". There was no cartilage present in joints yet it noted that there were no fractures identified on bones.
Investigators also reported the observation of insects in the remains although there were no maggots detected. According to the experts, this information can be used to tell the conditions that mother-earth should have been left in.

As per the results of the post-mortem, the spine and the head were left intact however, there is no spinal cord since the body was in a very decomposed condition. It also reported that there were brown insects which were found especially in the hair although no maggots were noticed.
What causes the death?
The preliminary report says that the level of its decomposition made it hard to reveal the exact cause of death at this point. Geo News however said that a DNA profiling and toxicology tests were also being done which should further enlighten.
Questions also arose due to the case on how the disappearance of Humaira Asghar Ali was not noticed earlier.
According to reports, the Pakistani woman who lived alone and alienated herself in her family, she did not get in touch with neighbours and the rest of the world much. Against the reports, her family on Thursday received the remains and took it to Lahore via ambulance.
