North East District : Police Team of AATS/NED arrests two accused involved in “ATM Fraud”, “House-Theft” and “Auto-Lifting

The North-East District of Delhi Police has arrested two persons who were evidently involved in ATM Fraudulency and Auto Lifting of vehicles. The accused have been identified as Rahisudin (24) and Sadiq (23), Sanjay Kumar Sain, Dy, Commissioner of Police of the North-East District of Delhi said. 

He further added, On the 23rd of March, while patrolling on ‘Wazirabad Road’ the police team of AATS/NED comprising SI Manoj Kumar, ASI Ramver Singh, HC Rajdeep, HC Vipin Tyagi, Const. Sonu, Const. Amit, Const. Paveet and Const. Sandeep, the Police saw two suspicious men riding a Black Hero Splendor motorcycle. Seeing the Police vehicle, the riders sped up which confirmed Police’s suspicions. The Police chased them and after a brief scuffle, was able to get to them near Gate No.12, MIG, DDA Flats Loni Road, Jyoti Nagar, Delhi."

On further investigation and checking, 80 ATM Cards and cash money worth Rupees 20,000 were recovered from them. When enquired, they couldn’t answer appropriately and it was evident that it was all occupied through Unfair Means. Further investigation revealed that the men were involved in cases of auto lifting, house theft, snatching. Reportedly the Arms Act and NDPS Act in the area of Delhi and UP also surfaced.

From one of the accused, Sadiq, 2 motorcycles including a TVS Apache were stolen, which triggered Section 379 of the IPC, dated 21/10/2, and a TVS Sports was also stolen against which an FIR was registered dated 19/11/21 under Section 379 of the IPC. Action u/s 41.1(d) and 102 Cr.PC, dated 24.03.22 PS Jyoti Nagar, Delhi was initiated against the accused.

The North East Police were able to recover 80 ATM Card from different Banks, A Cash of Rs-20,000/ which was obtained via cheating, A Motorcycle Hero Honda No. DL5SBW2199, A Motor Cycle TVS Apache No.DL2SN7074., Motor Cycle TVS Sports No.DL8SCF9397 and a Master Key.
