Gold and Silver Rates Today On October 4: The gold price for 22-carat has increased by Rs 500 compared to the previous day while the gold price for 24-carat went up by Rs 540 in the last 24 hours.
Gold and Silver Rates Today On October 4: After a decrease in gold prices the previous day, the gold rate in India today has increased significantly.
On Friday, September 4th the 22-carat gold rate in India is priced at Rs 71,000 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold rate today stands at Rs 77,450 per 10 grams.
The gold price for 22-carat has increased by Rs 500 compared to the previous day while the gold price for 24-carat went up by Rs 540 in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday, the 22-carat gold price was valued at Rs 70,500 per 10 grams and the gold rate for 24-carat was priced at Rs 76,910 per 10 grams.
Furthermore, the 22-carat gold rate today per gram is valued at Rs 7,118 and the gold price for 24-carat is priced at Rs 7,763 per gram.
The silver rate today in India is priced at Rs 95,000 per kilogram, silver rate has remained unchanged for the 3rd consecutive day.
In gold MCX futures contracts maturing on October 2024 were hiked by Rs 681 and were trading at Rs 75,550 per 10 gm while the silver MCX futures contracts were trading at Rs 91,390 per kg with a hike of Rs 671.

The last big fluctuation in gold and silver rates was noted in July after the announcement of the Union Budget by the Indian government.
The Union Budget which was introduced on the 23rd of July reduced the excise duty taxes which are imposed on gold and silver rate from 15% to 6%, this caused the gold rate in India to decline by Rs 4,000 on the next day.
