Gold and Silver Rates Today On October 2: The gold rate today in India has decreased for the second consecutive day. On Wednesday, September 2, the 22-carat gold rate is priced at Rs 70,500 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold rate today stands at Rs 76,910 per 10 grams.

The gold price for 22-carat has decreased by Rs 300 in the last 24 hours while the gold price for 24-carat went down by Rs 330 compared to previous day’s price.

The gold rate for 22-carat per gram also has decreased by Rs 300 and stands at Rs 7,066 and the gold rate for 24-carat also declined by Rs 330 in the last 24 hours and is valued at Rs 7,707 per gram.

According to the reports, the gold rate over the past week has experienced a decline of -0.46%.

The silver rate today in India stands at Rs 95,000 per kilogram, silver rate has remained unchanged compared to previous day’s price.

The last big fluctuation in gold and silver rates was noted in July after the announcement of the Union Budget by the Indian government.

The Union Budget which was introduced on the 23rd of July reduced the excise duty taxes which are imposed on gold and silver rate from 15% to 6%, this caused the gold rate in India to decline by Rs 4,000 on the next day.
