Deepika Padukone Reacts to Fan Asking for Rom-Com With Ranbir Kapoor

Both actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have worked in 3 movies together and the chemistry in each of them was adored by the viewers. There are a great number of viewers who would like them to get the film once more, yet it has not occurred in more than ten years, since the release of Tamasha in 2015. In the same vein, an Instagram fan made a reel requesting the Bollywood filmmakers to cast the two stars in a movie because it would be an instant hit. Deepika has now responded to the same reel.

In another movie Deepika and Ranbir are desired by Fan

A user by the name Sonalika Puri posted the reel on Instagram a few days ago. In it, she said, “This is a humble appeal to all directors and producers that can you guys please cast Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in a film together? Preferably a rom-com? Tum log bolte rehte ho picturey paise nahi kama rahi log theatre me nahi aa rahe. Tum cast toh karo saath mein unko (You guys say that the films are not working and people don't come to theatres anymore, but first cast the two of them again and see)!”

She went on to add, “Jis jodi ki public appearances itni zyaada buzz create kar deti hein woh waapis screen pe ayenge toh socho kya ho jayga! Oh god, I can't even stop smiling thinking about it! Achche se script likho aur dono ko cast karo. Kyuki dono hi bohot zyada talented he and itne khoobsurat lagte he saath me yaar (Their public appearances alone create so much buzz, now think what will happen when they come on screen together! So write a good script and cast these two. Because they are both very talented and look amazing together).”

Deepika has now favored the reel. This has attracted the attention of many users who have commented on it. One said, “Deepika liked this reel omg.” Another said, “She liked!! That means DP is ready!” A comment read, “I recently read this article claiming Ranbir is reviving RK studios and will announce 3 movies and his 1st will be with Deepika, produced by Ranbir and directed by Konkona.” Nevertheless, no formal confirmation that Ranbir and Deepika would be cast together in a movie has been made.

Ranbir and Deepika personal life

The two spent close to two years together as they collaborated in Bachna Ae Haseeno before their separation in 2010. Deepika got married to an actor, Ranveer Singh in 2019. They have a daughter, Dua. In April 2022, Ranbir got married to actress Alia Bhatt. They also had a daughter Raha the same year.

In the film industry, Deepika had appeared in Singham Again last. Next, she appears in the next of Shah Rukh Khan, which is entitled King. She is also featured in the following film of Allu Arjun. Ranbir on the other hand was last seen in Animal. His next appearances will be in Love and war and in the Ramayana by Nitesh Tiwari.
