Chennai Super Kings Replace Rachin Ravindra with Daryl Mitchell: Rachin Ravindra has been dropped from Chennai Super Kings' playing XI for Tuesday's match against Lucknow Super Giants.

For the reverse fixture against the Super Giants, the Super Kings have recalled Rachin's compatriot Daryl Mitchell.

Ian Bishop and Matthew Hayden, who inspected the pitch said, "We are very central on this lovely playing surface. To the right, it is about 66m and only one meter bigger on the left side. Further stated, "The half where we are standing have some specklings of grass, but the far end has a nice even covering of grass. It is not going to be a 200 sort of wicket, it is going to be a real dogfight. There is going to be some dew today, and it will come early."

In Match 39 of IPL 2024 at Chepauk, Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss and elected to bowl first.

"We'll bowl first. There is a bit of dew, we have trained here and there is a bit of dew that will play an impact. Wicket is a bit slow and hopefully we can put their batters under pressure."

In their IPL return leg, Chennai Super Kings will face Lucknow Super Giants. The defending champions will try to rectify their previous loss and advance to the playoffs.

While the Lucknow Super Giants are struggling with inconsistencies in their batting, their top order has the potential to devastate the Chennai Super Kings.

In the IPL standings, KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock's opening partnership in Lucknow gave them eight points.
