Virat Kohli Given Out By The Third Umprie On a No Ball: During Sunday's IPL 2024 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Virat Kohli was involved in a controversial decision that left him fuming.

In the third over of the innings, Harshit Rana bowled Kohli a full toss which looked like an over-the-waist no ball. Kohli failed to connect and was caught and bowled.

Michael Gough, the third umpire, adjudged Kohli's dismissal to be legal after the on-field umpire referred the decision to him.

While discussing the wicket, Harsha Bhogle said, "RCB have been robbed here." Kohli, unhappy with the decision, argued with the umpire before departing.

When Kohli delivered the ball, he claimed it crossed him over his waist because he was standing outside the popping crease. However, replays showed the ball’s trajectory fell below his waistline. The ball would have passed Kohli further below his waistline if he had stood inside the crease.

Even fans are very angry with the umpire's decision, posting their opinions on social media.

@Girish Gelani, a Twitter user said, "The ball that took Virat Kholi wicket, a blind man would have said that it was a no ball or even Harshit Rana would have said that the ball got slipped from his hand but the umpires declared it as a legal delivery."

He also added, "The umpires should change their uniforms and wear Mumbai Indians uniform permanently as the umpires does all the cheating in favour of Mumbai Inidans and a different type of cheating goes on behind Virat Kholi, like if BCC and Jay Shah is given them money."

Another user added, "Navjot Singh Siddhu said It was a no ball Umpiring in IPL has become a joke."

Another said, "Virat Kohli and His Fans looks quite dissatisfied with the decision of umpires."
