Chandrababu Naidu Swearing-In as Andhra CM: The Oath ceremony on June 12 has already started, TDP party leader Chandrababu Naidu will attend the swearing-in ceremony today to take the Oath as the CM of Andhra Pradesh.
Along with Chandrababu Naidu, 24 Members of the Legislative Assembly among which 17 new leaders are expected to take Oath today on June 12.
The swearing-in ceremony is being held at Kesarapalli IT Park near Gannavaram Airport, Andhra Pradesh.
However, the list includes 21 TDP MLAs, the Jana Sena Party three MLAs, and One cabinet spot has been kept aside for the BJP MLA.
This was all decided in a joint meeting by TDP, the BJP, and the Jana Sena Party on June 11, in which Naidu was appointed the NDA leader in AP. On the other hand, JSP elected Pawan Kalyan.

In the NDA joint meeting on June 11, Naidu said, “The main priorities of the government is to complete the Polavaram projects and the contractions of the capital city of Amaravati.”
He further said, “We have to take care of the interlinking of rivers too so that we can ensure proper water irrigation for every unit of land in the state. There is no room for demolitions and vindictive politics.”

Livemint reported that from the 24 MLAs, 17 are new faces among which eight Backward Class leaders, three women, two SCs, one ST, and one Muslim in the government.
However, during the Lok Sabha Election, the NDA got 164 of the 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, the BJP got eight seats, the JSP won twenty-one, and the TDP party got 135 seats.
