Bomb Threats Prompt Evacuations at Malls in Noida and Gurugram: On Saturday, DLF Mall situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and Ambience Mall situated in Gurugram, Haryana, received bomb threats through emails. The police and bomb squad teams started a search operation in the malls.
Additional deputy commissioner of police, Noida, Manish Mishra, stated that a security drill happened at the DLF Mall of India for two and a half hours starting at 11 a.m. and there was no bomb threat.

Manish Mishra told Hindustan Times, “A security drill was carried out at the mall by the local police in collaboration with the mall’s security management at 11 am.”
“The mall was evacuated and after two-and-half hours, normal operations were resumed. There was no bomb threat email at the mall and people were allowed to go back to the mall by 1 pm,”
The spokesperson of DLF Mall of India said in a statement. “We would like to inform you that the recent activity at DLF Mall of India was a security drill conducted in collaboration with Noida authorities. We are pleased to confirm that the mall is now open and fully operational.”

“The safety of our patrons is our utmost priority, and DLF is consistently dedicated to maintaining the highest security standards to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all,” the statement added.
A threatening email was received by the mall management. That who claims that bombs had been planted in the building to "kill everyone." The email also carries the names of two individuals and the sender claimed that they were "behind this attack."
The reports of the News agency ANI, quoted Mohit Sharma, chief civil defence team in Gurugram, as saying that a bomb threat was received by email at around 10 am to all the malls in Gurugram. After the mail was received, the search operation started by the district administration in the mall. Police administration, dog squad, and civil defence team were also engaged in the search for a bomb.
