Baba Siddique’s Son Zeeshan Receives Threat Message: Mumbai Police has arrested a 21 year old from Noida for allegedly sending threat message to NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader Baba Siddique's MLA son Zeeshan Siddique.

NDTV quoting police sources said that Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra received messages on Friday evening threatening Salman Khan and the MLA of death if they didn't pay the ransom. A staff of Zeeshan Siddique's office had lodged a police complaint and an FIR was registered.

Mumbai Police then identified Mohammed Tayyab as the culprit and arrested him.

Earlier Mumbai Police had arrested Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mausin, a 24 year old vegetable seller from Jamshedpur for a threat message received by Mumbai traffic police's WhatsApp helpline.

A threat message demanding ₹5 crore from the actor was received on the Mumbai Traffic Police's WhatsApp helpline and a case was registered and investigation was launched.

Police traced the number to Jharkhand and teams were sent to arrest the accused, said an official, another team went to Guwahati.

As the police was searching for the sender of the message, Mumbai traffic police received an "apology" from the same mobile number on Tuesday.

Interestingly Salman Khan had received death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi gang earlier. Suspects of the gang had fired outside his Bandra residence in April this year. Few months back Navi Mumbai police had busted a plot to kill Khan and thus security was enhanced for the actor.

Baba Siddiqui, the NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister was shot dead by three shooters on October 12 near his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Nirmal Nagar, Mumbai.

Nine persons have been arrested in Baba Siddiqui murder case. The nine accused are Gurmail Baljit Singh (23), Dharmaraj Kashyap (21), Harish Kumar Nisad (26), Pravin Lonkar (30), Nitin Gautam Sapre (32), Sambhaji Kisan Pardhi (44), Pradeep Dattu Thombre (37), Chetan Dilip Pardhi and Ram Fulchand Kanoujia (43).

"The accused had sent a threatening message on MLA Zeeshan Siddique's helpline number and later made a voice call on it and issued death threat to Siddique and actor Salman Khan. This happened on Friday," said an official of Nirmal Nagar police station here.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed the murder. Earlier police had said that the three shooters involved in Baba Siddiqui murder were in touch with Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi through Snapchat before the murder of the NCP leader.
