Arijit Singh’s ₹11.8 Lakh Concert Package Sells Out as Diljit Dosanjh Caps Ticket Prices at ₹18,000
While Arijit Singh and Diljit Dosanjh are gearing up to bring their music to the Indians, the prices to watch them are very different.
Arijit Singh and Diljit Dosanjh are lining up to bring their music to the masses in India, but the cost of watching them perform live is far from uniform. Arijit's most expensive concert package is at ₹11.8 lakh while Diljit has kept his highest ticket price at ₹18,000. Both the artists are starting their tours at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, and the demand for them is huge.
Arijit Singh is back for lakhs of rupees worth of tickets
Arijit said that he will be soon going on a comeback: a nine-city India tour to celebrate 20 years in music in 2027. Some of his most famous songs will be played in the stadium shows such as Agar Tum Saath Ho, Tum Hi Ho, Vida Karo etc. The tour follows the singer's January announcement that he had decided to leave the movies and concentrate on his own music. The tour will start in January 2027 and will run till May with ticket prices starting at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium at ₹999 and going up to a table of 15 seats at Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Racecourse for ₹11.8 lakh.
The highest ticket prices for the tour can be from ₹7 lakh to ₹10 lakh in various cities, according to the press release by the official ticketing partner thumpN. They're targeted at those who want a more intimate concert experience, with seating available on the couch, gifts for the show, high-end bottles and a separate entrance and exit. Separate lavatories will also be available.
There's even a social media bonus in the package! The concert will also be shot by a dedicated video crew which will upload the footage to Instagram as a Reel the next day and share it with the guests. Despite the high prices, fans have not deterred from booking premium ones. Sources say approximately 60% of the highest ticket price categories are sold out. Arijit has encountered the same demand in the past. A premium lounge of 40 seats of his concert at Pune, three years ago, reportedly sold for ₹16 lakh.
Around five lakh people are expected to attend singer's upcoming tour in nine cities. It will begin on 9th January 2027 in Ahmedabad; 23rd January 2027 in Chandigarh and 7th February 2027 in Jaipur. The cities are Mumbai (20 Feb), Bengaluru (13 March) and New Delhi (27 March). The other shows will be held in Pune on 10th April, Indore on 1st May and Hyderabad on 15th May.
Diljit Dosanjh keeps his ticket prices below ₹18,000
For his ongoing Aura World Tour in India, Diljit Dosanjh is opting for a different way. Following his successful Dil-Luminati Tour 2024 that reportedly fetched him ₹943 crore, the Punjabi singer will be coming to various cities in India to perform.
The high ticket prices of Arijit's concerts are in stark contrast to his ticket rates for the upcoming India shows, which are at ₹18,000. The ticketing offers fans the opportunity to attend a large-scale live event without needing to pay for an ultra-premium hospitality package.
This year Diljit is enjoying the Aura World Tour, touring Europe and North America. The India leg will kick off in Delhi-NCR on November 1 followed by Indore on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 21, Mumbai on November 27 and Bengaluru on November 29. The tour will then proceed to Lucknow on the 5th of December. Chandigarh has also been announced as a concert venue and the promoter has not given out any more details.
