Apple Delays New AI Features: The tech giant has delayed the release of the new artificial intelligence (AI) feature. The Apple Intelligence was introduced on July 2024 during Apple's WWDC2024 in Cupertino.

As per the reports, apple's new feature now will be introduced after the release of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 which is expected in September.

The reports further stated that the company will introduce these AI features for early testing through iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 betas which is expected by the last week of July 2024.

Bloomberg reported that the AI features were supposed to be part of the new OS but the reason behind its delay was to fix bugs and to make it perfect for use.

Apple generally doesn’t release follow-up changes before the public release of a new update but this time it has, this change was introduced because of the concerns about the efficiency of the new Apple Intelligence features.

Apple wants the AI feature to perform smoothly and that is why it is introducing it early for only developers so that it can fix uses before the official release date.

Last week, the fourth beta of iOS 18.0 was out for developers and Apple wants to fix all bugs by the end of July as only two months are left before its official release.

However, the AI feature that the tech company is going to launch is known as Apple Intelligence and comes with a lot of features that will help users from summarizing web pages and voice notes to a better messaging experience.

The Apple Intelligence will also come with an updated Siri and will be able to connect with OpenAI's ChatGPT.

After the release of iOS 18.1 and iPad OS 18.1, all the new features of Siri won’t be released directly it will come with multiple updates.

As part of macOS Sequoia, Apple Intelligence will also work on Macs with Apple chips. There has been speculation that Apple is working on Apple intelligence to customize it for Vision Pro too.

However, Apple is investing in AI capabilities to enhance user experience and to stay competitive in the field of creative AI.
