Nissan is ready to ourth-generation X-Trail in India starting July 26, 2024. Customers can pre-book the car by giving an advance amount of 1 Lakh rupees. Nissan will be brought in as a Completely Built Unit. Based on the CMF-C platform, the X-Trail measures 4,680 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, 1,725 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,705 mm with a 210 mm of ground clearance.

The relaunch of our CBU business will provide flagship & aspirational Nissan SUVs like the X-TRAIL that embodies sophistication, versatility, and a penchant for premium driving experience while adding to the resurgence of the Nissan brand in India.”
The car comes in 3 colors Diamond Black, Pearl White, and Champagne Silver and it is equipped with features like an all-digital driver's display, a floating touchscreen, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, steering-mounted controls, paddle shifters, seven airbags.
The beast of a car is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder Variable Compression Turbo Petrol engine with mild hybrid tech. It makes 160 bhp and 300 Nm and is paired to an eight-step CVT transmission. Nissan claims a mileage of 13.1 km and an acceleration time of 9.1 seconds for 0-100 kph.

For safety, it is equipped with 7 airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, rain-sensing wipers, front, and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera, Industry safety body, Euro NCAP awarded the Nissan X-Trial with a 5-star rating for its safety it is considered 91% safe for adult and 90% safe for children
Nissan X-Trail when released in India is estimated to cost Rs 40-45 lakh. It will compete against the Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, Toyota Fortuner, Isuzu MU-X, and MG Gloster. The X Trial is not at all a new name for India's 2ndgeneration model was sold in India for a brief period from 2007 to 2010
